I've checked online and it says that the app is compatible with Android versions of 2.2 and up. My phone is 2.3.6 and when I go to the Google App Store to download it, a message appears on my screen saying that "This device is not compatible with this version."

hey der i updated my samsung galaxy ace s5830i which was an android version of 2.3.6 gingerbread it was perfect but now my cell is not supporting any headphones or earphones..plz help me man..i really need ua help
1. Get the XWKS2 (2.3.5) firmware as well as the telstra DVKQ3 (2.3.4) firmware2. Flash the XWKS2 firmware following the instructions exactly as in the link above (this includes a factory reset from recovery mode, so back up first!)3. The telstra firmware comes as a .tar.md5 file; decompress (well, un-tar) it and grab the file from inside it called amss4. Tar the amss file (I'm not sure this is necessary, but it's what I did) into something like amss.tar5. Start odin again with your phone in download mode6. Select the OPS file like last time7. Make sure "one package" is *un*checked8. Make sure "preserve OPS" and "auto reboot" are checked9. Press the "Phone" button and select your amss.tar file10. Look over everything again to make sure it makes sense, then hit "Start". This will flash just the modem software11. When flashing just the modem software, you don't need to do a factory reset, but rebooting the phone is a good idea. After these steps you should be left with the baseband version of DVKQ3 from telstra and the XWKS2 software from the netherlands. Since your phone will identify itself as a european model (S5830) the upd_1.zip root package will work without needing modifications.
